[Update] Final Fantasy Versus XIII Renamed to Final Fantasy XV, Moved to PlayStation 4 & Xbox One

Haha, as they refreshed the name from Versus XIII in the trailer, I was in the midst of typing how I was surprised they didn't just outright turn it into FFXV. I'm glad they did. If it was just another XIII universe spin off (I use the term lightly), it wouldn't be worthy of keeping around all this time. But as a full-fledged numbered entry in the series? They can justify kicking it around in development for this many years. I mean, it's still ridiculous, but at least the number makes it sound worth it. :P

I liked all the cutsenes of the trailer. The action gameplay suffered from the same thing I was whining about re: FFXIII LR in the other thread but hopefully it either looks better if you're playing it yourself or they haven't really finished with it yet.
