I don't have a franchise I love the most. However, here are my favorites: - Final Fantasy - Kingdom Hearts - Tales - Halo - Metroid - The Legend of Zelda - Pokémon - Assassin's Creed
-Pokemon -The Legend of Zelda -Final Fantasy -Kingdom Hearts -Tales -Assassin's Creed I'd consider those my favorite franchises...there are others I enjoy like Left 4 Dead and Mass Effect, but they're not quite as "established" as the ones I listed yet.
- Super Mario Bros. My childhood before I graduated to Zelda. I still love and play the old games and it seems to be in a bit of renaissance at the moment - The Legend of Zelda duh. I'm not as addicted to the theorizing and timeline fandom as I was...about a decade ago, but I still love the series for it's gameplay, for the most part (I'm looking at you Spirit Tracks) - Metroid Prime I actually quite enjoy the Metroid series and its themes of isolation and exploration. But the only 'traditional' one I've played was Zero Mission. And while that is one of my all-time favourite games, it's not enough to count the entire franchise, so I'm limiting this reference to the Prime subseries - Banjo-Kazooie Kazooi, Tooie, and Grunty's Revenge. There, it's a series. Honourable mentions.. Assassin's Creed and Pokémon
Kingdom Hearts, for me. I can't stand to not have the games as soon as they come out and can't even wait for localization (especially when it takes upwards of 6 months to do it D:
